Procedure for
Application of Golf Membership
Requirements, documents, and timelines to guide prospective members through a smooth membership application.
Form Collection by Proposer
> The proposer must be a voting member.
> The proposer and seconder must have been members of the Club for at least two (2) years.
Step One
Submission of Completed Form
> Payment for the category desired (either in full or a non-refundable 50% commitment fee).
> Applicants Curriculum Vitae (CV).
> Two Passport size photos.
> Copy of Identification Card (ID)
Step Two
Form Display for Member Verification
After confirming that the form is completed in all aspects, the form is pinned on the Membership Notice Board for one month (30 Days) for Members verification.
Step Three
Balloting Interview Invitation
If there is no objection from the general membership, the applicant is invited for a balloting interview in writing held during the monthly Staff & Members Welfare Sub-committee meeting. The applicant should be accompanied by his proposer or in his absence his seconder.
Step Four
Director Signatures & Entrance Fee Payment
If balloting is successful, the applicant is issued with a balloting card to obtain a minimum of seven (7) signatures from the Directors within one month (30 days). The applicant is introduced to the Directors by his proposer/seconder. The applicant pays the full entrance fee if the same was not done when applying for membership.
Step Five
Final Approval & Admission Notification
After the balloting card has been returned fully signed the Staff & Members Welfare Sub-committee recommends to the Board to admit the applicant as a member. The admission is communicated to the applicant in writing.
