In the Shield division, Sigona Golf Club earned promotion to the Trophy category after topping the standings with 122 points, 42 more than Thika Sports Club in second, and Nyali Golf and Country Club who came third with 56 points.
Sigona’s golfing legacy continues through its junior golfers. In June 2026, Sigona junior Tsevi Soni won the NCBA Faldo Junior Tour Kenya Championship, while fellow Sigona juniors Yuvraj Rajput and Maryam Mwakitawa also won their respective categories.
The 2026 NCBA Sigona Bowl attracted 150 golfers from Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda and India. Sigona’s Junaid Ayaz Manji won the championship with a three-round aggregate of 213, helping open the 2026 Kenya Amateur Golf Championship season.
